einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result:

Injuries.? Never heard them mention injuries before. Young lee radford looked a good prospect today. Just needs a little more experience.

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_44565.jpg

My man of the match was James Green, he is a class above this level now and needs to be in the full time squad with his dual reg at Batley
Followed closely by Peterson, Heil, and the winger Johnson. Ollett was very good today also. Half backs are good but only time will tell weather they are ready for the next step the other 5 mentioned could slot in no problems if needed and would not look out of place. Infact I reckon Peterson is better than Murrell however Murrell has the experience over him.

Heard one of the players dads talking and he said his son in on £11,000 a year, however he cannot get another job as he trains during the day. Obviously he shouldnt be on mega money as he is still a junior, but surely 11k is hard to live on.

There are plenty of people in the country that get less than a grand a month, it's more than he'd get on the dole.

There wasn't a player out there today that will be troubling first team any time soon, for either side.
Your 10 looked good going forward but his defence was soft, needs a bit more power in that department.
How on earth did Sherriffe play SL last year? He was the only Rovers player that didn't out perform his opposite number.
Who was your left centre? He was soft in defence also, fancy being that big and hiding in the centres!

For balance, all our players were gash except Shaul (FB) and Wrigglesworth (Winger)

This posting does you no credit. You cannot ever have watched under 20's rugby if that is what you genuinely think.

Hull FC were a younger, more inexperienced outfit with no right to win that game and performed accordingly. But, you should give credit where it is due - Rovers had some impressive performers.

I am not sure what a player has to do, if James Green didn't scream out 'Super League' and the likes of Peterson, Ollett, Heill and, strangely enough, Sherriff weren't too far behind.

Trust me, I have seen far more underwhelming under 20's players than that quintet go on to more than hold their own in Super League.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Frederick Douglas:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_30596.jpg

Easy to be stupidly critical.

Green, Peterson, Heil and hopefully Sherriff will go on to have good professional careers.

James Green, I'm assuming he's the 10? Despite knocking down Hulls forwards like skittles going forward, in defence, he hardly got one on their back all game.
Peterson, the one with the stupid hair? Lots of energy, decent enough, but won't make it IMO.
Sherriffe? Was he the one that dropped 2 bombs and let a kick off go out the back door?

I don't think anyone out there today showed enough to mean SL is just around the corner. Maybe it was down to the game being very one sided and the Hull lads being vastly more inexperienced, Bowden has shown he can do SL, after all.
