Different to your list i would have

ZDC - Yes ( think with a run he will prove an excellent signing - its a shame he has lunt in front of him who we depend on so much)

Abdul - Yes ( our best player this year )

Greenwood - Yes ( proven SL quality, had a stinker this year though. Can only get better)

Johnson - Yes - ( as a 5th prop mind with clark, scruton, jewitt and A.n other)

Also

Kavangah - No

Clarkson - No

Moss - Undecided ( he has what money can't buy, Pace! and clearly more heart then previous wingers caro dixon etc. Him & Oakes would be reliable back ups to carney and a new signing)

If the league gets expanded it will cut down the number of players available for you to sign so maybe wholesale changes won't be an option, particularly as your non fed spots are pretty full

Some are already gone...you have more than a couple right...and need a spot for Atkin.

And that squad would certainly see us in the middle 8's yet again either way.

I feel tim seems to know who he wants and not want to kept he is a realist and knows some of he current group will not make the grade if we are promoted. He has even stated we would have to recruit heavily. But it is all if n butts. But we do need a few signings to get us promoted

All we can do is play to the best of our ability in the 8s. It's pointless worrying about it. At least we're trying to go up instead of slip down. It should be seen as a positive instead of a negative.

I have been told that FC are going to put a good contract offer in for young Oakes to tempt him to join the dark side. Has any one heard anything about this. Do we think the club will let him go. I think he is one for the future and well worth keeping but I suppose money talks. He appears to be happy with us and I think Tim Sheens is the right man to take him to the next level. Whats everyones thoughts?

It was rumoured just before he signed his new extension which pretty much put it to bed.

Good to hear that they is no substance to the rumours. It might be FC playing games.......
