Hull KR the pride of East Hull.:

Doubt Ryan Shaw will be leaving, as he's signed a 2 year extention in Jan.
Rumours are Scruton is retiring at the end of the season.

Clearly this thread is going to be VERY subjective and may gain emotional responses if a persons “favourite” is earmarked for release by fellow fans. However, just for fun I’ll play, my differences to yours are:

Greenwood- keep
Jewitt- keep
Donaldson - release, unfortunately his lack of size minimises his impact, his effort is undoubted though.
Clarkson - see Donaldson.
Marsh - release, he’s not developing at a satisfactory rate.
Salter - release, his chances have been limited even when fully fit, the Easter period may have shown why.

George Lawler - MUST Keep
Tommy Lee - Release - way too average
Matty Marsh - MUST release - had plenty of chances over the years
Rob Mulhern - Keep
Liam Salter - release if Vaivai is any good
Josh Johnson - Keep
Chris Atkin - TOP PRIOIRTY Keep
Kieren Moss - not seen in SL but just keep

Obviously it's down to what contracts players have.

I would keep
Quinlin (for 1 more year then move on to Dagger being number 1), Minns, Shaw because of his contract signing going to stay), McGuire (got 1 more year), Daggers (got 2 more years after this one), Lunt, Masoe, Greenwood, Kavanagh, Donaldson (good as a back up), Lee (again good as a back up as can cover a few positions, plus at least a year left), Mulhern,Johnson,Atkin,Oakes, Walne,Cator, Carney. Lawler, Walne.Addy.

Unsure -
Heffernan playing wise undoubtedly keep, but not sure health wise. Jewitt runs hard, committed. If he can cut out the stupid stuff than keep. Tickle, not doing badly at the moment. If he continues might be worth another year.

Going-
Salter (might need to leave to improve as a player by getting more games), Marsh (same reason), Scruton retiring anyway. Blair (if we can get a good younger player), Moss (I like him, but looks like he's going anyway), Wardill never really been over impressed when I've seen him play, Clavering,Williams,Franck. Not fancied, not going to get game time.

There is no way we will have 800k left on the cap, we have over 30 players and you don’t get change from a million quid while paying that wage bill.

It will be nearer 80k, but certainly less than 200k.

are all of these players actually OOC? How are you going to afford to pay off a large number of players and where are the replacements coming from?

It's like fantasy RL

The new roger millward? Are you on crack? He's shown the odd glimpse of something but he'll never get anywhere near the standard millward was. It's like me calling abdul the next Johnny whiteley

I did say it's a bit early, but after watching him regularly (unlike FC fans) there is definitely more than an odd spark. When the rest of the team were rubbish against Wigan he single handedly scored. That is just one small example.

If course, he might end up being yet another false dawn like Marsh but there are definite signs there and he is young enough to build on for the future if he keeps improving.

If the club stay up they need to sign SL quality players .
We need players with the ilk of Benny Galea, Micky Vella, Benny the Fish, Fitzy , Clint Newton ,Dobbo etc.

Rovers recruitment has been very poor the past few seasons , the Chairman needs to stop taking fans for granted . The arrogance needs to stop .

Jam tommorow .
