Hello all, I for one cannot wait for the Cas game, they have had a great start to the season where as we have been scratchy to say the least.
We at least showed some bottle to come off the canvas and fightback on Sunday.
The count of 42 missed tackles is still a staggering figure and unless we start rectifying this Statistic we will find it difficult to win games.
Of course it will be even more difficult without our 2 Aussie props who haven't helped the cause at all.

I am going for a high scoring affair under the lights, and hopefully a big crowd and a Rovers win.

Hopefull Langley passes the head test and starts at prop.

I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell:30566.jpg

Should be a cracker, I have no doubt we are a better team on paper but Powell is working wonders at Cas since he took over. Pre season I had this down as a certain 2 points, not so sure now.

It's made alot harder with Weyman & Poore both suspended. Add in Hodgsons injury, Missing Gleeson along with Langley & Horne been doubts and now we hear Caro has a broken bone in his hand............................Brilliant.

Not forgetting that the 2 Papuan internationals didn't even reach these shores.

We did all think in pre-season that our squad is stronger than in previous years so now is the chance to prove it. Horne will be ok I think. Ollett can come onto the bench or Carlile may get a run out. Hally can come in for Caro. Lets be honest, did he really deserve to be dropped in the first place? Personally, I would move Costigan up to prop.
Cas are a really strong side, much under rated but I still think we can beat them.

I heard bits of the conversation with Craig Sandercock on tonight's radio interview, Gwilym Lloyd asked about Omari Caro but I heard no mention of a broken hand in The reply.
Or Perhaps he did mention it and I simply didn't hear it, I certainly hope he hasn't broken his hand as he looked like he was gaining a little confidence of late, something he appeared to lack previously.

Thinking a bit leftfield, would you consider, as a one off, playing Rhys on the wing to take care of Cairney? Don't see Hall handling him.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Frederick Douglas:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_30596.jpg

Yes, if I were mental, but I have a certificate from a renowned psychiatrist to say I'm not, so no.

I think based on 160 minutes performance we are playing by far the best - can't see it being that high scoring as we are very structured now under Powell.

At home I'd say it's fairly level but I just fancy us to nick it because of the players you have out

Poore
Waeyman
Gleeson
Hodgson
Caro
Langley (possible)
Horne (possible)

......I think this just swings the game in our favour slightly. But it's still tight to call, our games are always close

you could be right but it's difficult to compare performances 2 games in when you've played Bradford and Catalans at home and we've played leeds and Huddersfield arguably 2 of the strongest teams on paper this year, I guess we'll all find out on friday

yeah I'd have to agree - realistically at the start of the year you'd probably target this as your first win, so you'll defnitely be up for it.

It's really close isn't it - I think we will both mount challenges for top 8, and if we want to be taken seriously a win on Friday would do wonders for both of us.

We absolutely took Catalans apart and a repeat of that performance would be enough, though I'm sure you'd say the same of your second half v hudd's
