| It's going to be goodbye to Cardiff for a couple of years & hello to Edinburgh from next May......
Quote: "Rugby league's Magic Weekend will move from Cardiff to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium next year.
The event, which sees a full round of Super League fixtures played in one city over a single weekend, will take place on 2 and 3 May 2009. Edinburgh takes over on a two-year deal from Cardiff, which hosted the first two weekends in 2007 and 2008. '"
Right then, who's going?!  Thoughts? Never been to Scotland, so this should be a good weekend.  |

I really cannot envisage Derbies next magic weekend, simply because the format has been too predictable.
And most fans need a challenge.

Everything i've heard & read so far has advertised it as the 'Magic Weekend', so i'm guessing they're just going to be dropping the Magic...of course, due to the change in venue.
As for the fixtures, said on BBC news this morning the usuals will be kept....but guess we'll have to wait until the '09 season fixtures are released for confirmation on that one.
Anyone ever been up to Murrayfield?

Pretty certain it's still "magic weekend" but hey the RL hierarchy make some strange decisions do they not?
