the critics said wigan fc were dead and buried with the run of games they had and then they went and beat man u nal liverpool and got robbed at chelsea so you never know we could win all 4

We've got some pretty awesome go-forward in us and some sublime attack at times but the harsh reality is that there's some way to go in defence and I doubt we will see some real improvements in this area until we start to get some continuity on the edges.

We seem to be saying this after every game, but when are we gonna tighten up the defence? It's still broke after 17 games lol

I don't think its a problem with defencive patterns or structures personally, I think we just have some very poor tacklers.

Tbf we were unlucky at their place and of the two teams ours has progressed much more than theirs since then with the return of key personnel.

Let's get real here. We just played out a brutal derby, while they rested players and beat Widnes St Judes under-11 girls at a canter. They are also man for man, the 2nd best side in the comp and if they turn up we will lose. Factor in 48 missed tackles and the picture starts to develop.

The only + I can see is that we are averaging 42 points per game at home this season, so with that in mind I will go for Rovers 30-42 Wire. Entertaining, but ultimately pointless.
