| So we have a game today? Toulose desperately need the win and it should give us a real test at home which hasn't really happened for awhile. If and it is only an if, we put a big score on them combined with the 1st half v London we really can go into qualifiers in real form and spirit.Looking forward to seeing this winger for them who is meant to be a bit special? Carney out for us but Quinlan back in squad (not bad as some said he'd signed for Leigh).Expecting a close game but hopefully we pull away in 2nd half as seems to be case nowadays.

| More questions than answers today.Wasnt lack of effort just not very smart. Putting a positive tint on it,it's a wake up call before real tests start but that 2nd half was reminiscent of the easter game v fc were from 20 up we bombed it.Few senior heads needed to influence the game more and change the flow of the game.Halfs poor again

| I expect Sheens to read the riot act. Toulouse obviously wanted it more, but not the performance we needed today.

| Great, so now there's a very real possibility that we could go in to the Fax game knowing that a loss offers more advantage than a win. Fev will finish 3rd or 4th whatever, so I'd expect Toulouse to be more motivated in their game. Which I assume is in France.
The superstitious part of me thinks that chucking a game would have karmic consequences and it hardly represents good preparation. On the other hand the idea of seeking to make our task in the 8s more difficult, basically having to self-inflict a wound is pretty horrible after every act of naivety was so mercilessly stomped on in 2016.

Yeah, if we were going to get a wake-up call from a Championship team, you'd rather it was now than in the 8s themselves.
If we do have to go there again, I hope we go with controlled anger and do a real job on them.

| Agree about half's but no half is going to look good behind a pack not dominating.Saying that we haven't had that for a long time.Toulose are a big all round side,we have matched bigger packs this year at best and it's been fitness which has seen us get over them .That won't happen in the 8s.A half (not Atkins) and Mose look crucial additions now rather than a luxury

| Who was leading the side when Lunt went off? They just did not look interested today & who decided not to kick for goal when it would have put us 8 points clear. If they play like that in the 8's we will have another season of this league.

| Think that was part of problem. Job done mentality and nice lead at halftime, cue on rack few beer afterwards to celebrate then give squad players a run v Fax next week, plenty in the tanks for qualifiers. A lesson best learnt now rather than when it matters. The format has devalued the league shield but as I said before you can only win the league you are in

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Terrible today, absolutely terrible.
Toulouse were rubbish apart from three or four miracle plays that stuck to hands.
Don't get me wrong, they were the better side and fully deserved to win but it was so much more a case of we got what we deserved.
I'll be amazed if our completion rate was above 33%.
I've never seen a game that for both sides was so much; penalty, error, penalty, error.
Terrible game management.
Take the two to ourselves up by eight? No.
Next time we're within the twenty we have a perfect opportunity for a dg, Ellis doesn't even think about it, he just ships the ball on.
We're one game away from the rubbish Eight's and as much as I respect Sheens, does he know what our best team is and where to play them?
Why is Addy in the half's?
What is the point of Cockayne on the bench?
Why is Clark turning out for York?
Who actually is the full back?
