i regret to inform you all but roger millward has died
it feels like weve lost a member of our family it does to me R.I.P. Roger the dodger Millward great play of hull kr and a legend as a coach. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. im sure he will be remembered in castleford and Halifax also. good bless you roger and thank you for giving me great memories 10-5 xx

RIP Roger, a true 'great' of the game and a real gentleman off the pitch, I was fortunate to watch him play from day one as a Rovers player and saw the greatest player our club ever had as well as one of the greatest the world ever had.

RIP roger and has you said he was a nice guy I remember been in a bar in Newcastle in oz and both him and Len Casey came and stood and talked to me and the wife back in 1992 for the great Britain tour |

One of the greatest ever players in RL history and a supreme talent. Even now almost 50 years after the event, I can assure you it is still a source of great annoyance that we (Castleford) let this lad go, particularly as at the time it broke his heart as all he ever wanted to do was play for his own town club. He was already an international. It still remains and will do forever our greatest ever loss. However he found a new home at HKR, where he quite rightly was an absolute hero and legend.
RIP supremely talented Roger, you will be sorely missed.
