30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| What's the point?
Unless someone has a couple of million sheets knocking about down the back of the sofa it's just a talking shop.
Ultimately it's Hudgell and Crossland's club and (and I for one am happy about that) money, are they really going to listen to Joe Schmo of Preggy Rerd and implement their ideas?

| More than a year since the last one, speaks volumes that interacting with fans is only done when there's a risk of many walking away. Shareholder meetings which those who bought shares to save the club used to attend have also been canned.
We can expect talk about new emphasis on youth. Again. Injuries. That he is as frustrated as the fans, as if he is in the same position as us to do something about it or have avoided this disastrous position. Complaining about the RFL and the usual "fit for purpose" negativity which I'm sure serves the club well at Red Hall. No mention of mistakes made by him and Rob.
I'm baffled why as chairman of an organisation where trust and solidarity are so important believes attacking personnel at the club and suggesting supporters are keyboard warriors is a good idea. Particularly when we are in crisis. Like the steering group and the "big listen" it'll be announced with a fanfare of being close to the fans then not result in anything at all, just temporary PR.

| Can't disagree with either Sandra or Zook on this. What on earth do the club hope to achieve? I'm only interested in the team putting in a shift at Cas next week, I don't care if they lose, just try for 80 mins.
Everything else is window dressing.

| There are any number of issues with holding a forum of this nature in these circumstances. Anybody who has sat at the front of a public meeting and had the general public telling them their job will fully understand this. I would love it to be a positive experience but it will probably end up as a slanging match and Hudge and co will have to put up with a whole load of nonsensical rubbish and we won't learn anything

| I'm split 3 ways on this.
The cynical part of me says this was a core fan suggestion from the Big Listen survey, which was canned as being irrelevant, given that the Board believed it had all on the field matters covered by highly paid employees and professionals.
The gullible part of me says that any attempt by an organisation to engage its stakeholders carries merit and value and should be embraced with open arms.
The experienced commercial part of me says that it is a complete waste of time and effort. If a Board has to indulge in a token part of reverse business consultancy by using fans in an unpaid capacity to help provide solutions, then it's questionable if that Board is fit for purpose.
As Stan says the team needs to put in an honest 80 mins shift at Cas and every game thereafter.
If it was me, and on the off chance that Neil Hudgell might be reading this, I would aim to be totally left field and radical. I would deduct a 20% proportion of the related weekly wage from those who collectively turned in such a shambolic performance in a Hull KR shirt on the pitch yesterday. That money can be used to reimburse the 3000 hardy souls who braved the cold in our name to witness the resultant debacle and humiliation.

| Presumably it'll not be for a couple of weeks or so, so the anger will have subsided enough for some useful discussion.
It'll be interesting to hear what the guys calling the shots think, IMO.
Could be done with an interview in the hdm or on KRTV, but fair play to them on fronting up.

| I think it's a bit insulting for Hudgell to say get from behind your keyboards as there were plenty of fans venting there anger at the players at full time and rightly so my guess is Hudgell saw this and thought play to the fans arrange a forum let them get a few things off there chest agree with them because I'm a fan also blah blah blah like what's been said it won't change anything it's only the players that can do anything about it

Maybe the cup anger will have subsided. Maybe not so much the anger from pastings at Cas and Salford

| Who are you?
Where have you come from?
I like you so far, by the way, not that that means anything, if it did, it's probably a bad thing.
Introduce yourself.
Do you like Afro Beat?
Do you drive a silly car?
Are you a Burgess's ice cream kind of person or a retro Fab lolly?
Do you sport a mullet?
Do you have tiny snake like hips that enable you to wear a Versace type cut or are you more Germanic and therefore favour a Hugo Boss, or the ultimate, a balance and so, a Paul Smith.
Do you know your keg from your cask?
Your Ginetta from your Jenson?
Your aqualine from your acquiescence?
These are all things we are required to assess.
I most humbly await your reply, although it is no businesses of mine.

Got to agree with this Frankie. However, last time me and Mrs PR went to Beverley for the day, the original shop in North Bar Within/Without was an Italian Deli Coffee Shop. Where's is it? Luckily the mobile van was still on the Westwood surrounded by mud and dung. What a relief?

Clue. A week of work experience shadowing a Met Police Officer in Brixton, man.
