I thought cockayne blair and thornley where stand outs first half and Lawler was second half him and Clarkson tackled very well

Need to play with the same tempo and game plan against FC and I think we will have a chance. FC don't seem to do to well against teams who play out wide.

Allgood and Walker had cracking first stints. Green equally magnificent when he came on. Clarksons draw pass to put Cockayne through the gap for Thornleys try was sublime, but Bobby Blair was a standout MOM for me. Really pleased for him.

Blair was excellent !! Cockayne, Thornley and Marsh did well. Our game management let us down in the second half but the lads put that right later on.

Defo agree about Walker/Allgood - thought they set the tone and got us on the front foot. Blair and Cockayne easily the two standouts for me. Cracking effort from the pair of them. Blair shading it for my motm fwiw.
How good was it having Mantellato back? His carries/kicking/tackles - even his claps to the crowd - huge boost. Proper man crush for you Josh. |

Blair was absolutely immense today. I thought first half apart from the Kopczak try we were outstanding. The completion rate was very high; the forwards made good yards and had great energy. Clarkson had his best game for us, Cockayne and Green also outstanding. Salford threw the kitchen sink at us second half and we managed to weather the storm. Great boost for next week, shame about the injury to Greenwood.

I saw Greenwood go off and heard RH mention in interview with Webster on the way home that he is a doubt for the derby, but didn't hear why.
What's the problem with Greenwood and Horne, anyone know?
