| So who realistically would you like it to be , Rowley ? - Mcnamara ? - Noble ? - Kear ? - Webster ?. Personally I would like to see Morgan with Webster (James) as his number 2 but doubtful it will happen.

That's a rather nostalgic choice if you don't mind me saying.
I want Keiron Purtill but we will get Poching

I'd love Toovey , but I don't think we'll get him.
The board will stick with Poching in the short term , telling us they're scouring the world for the right man , in the meantime we'll be linked with everyone from Justin Morgan to Jesus , then just after Easter Poching will be announced as permanent on a two and a half year deal.

He may be given the reigns temporarily but personally i doubt that Poching will be given any long-term contract.

| None of the above?
I'm happy enough with Poching for now. Both because he came across okay in interview t'other day and because nobody on the list of possibles inspires massive confidence or excitement.
If he turns things around and looks like the man for us then great, if he doesn't we've not lost much and we've at least had some time to reflect.
If it doesn't work out with Poching, then my vaguely-like-Purtill-but-not-Purtill option would be Paul Deacon.

| Bearing in mind poching and peacock are old pals from leeds days,he would probably be a decent choice as peacock wouldn't want a head coach job but will want plenty of input and poching iam sure would be happy with that to happen.Rowley, mcnamara and agar are a disaster waiting to happen IMO.

I think in principle experience is desirable. But just because it hasn't worked [irecently for us[/i, it shouldn't be ruled out IMO. It's worked loads of times in other places, and at other times for us. We might as well rule out men who wear their hair very short.
And genuinely no offence to any of them, but none of the obvious/realistic experienced options really sets my pulse racing.

| I really think Steve McNamara would be Ok for us admittedly he didn't do a great job at Bradford but that was early in his coaching career and if i remember rightly the bulls wasn't in a great place financially and was a on the decline no matter who was in charge of them, then he served as the England head coach and didn't do to bad of a job no matter how you look at it England are miles away from the other 2 big national sides and he always got us to compete with them, and now he is a Sydney roosters as a assistant to Trent Robinson and if you watched Robinson's interview last week you will realize his rugby league knowledge and if mcnamara could pick up stuff off him he could bring a lot to the table for rovers imo

He does yes but, he appeared to make it quite plain yesterday that he would like the job long term or at least that's the way it sounded to me.
What I meant was....I don't believe the club will offer him a long term contract because I don't think they see him as a credible prospect in the longer term, in fact I'm not even sure they see him been credible in the short term but we will have to wait and see on that one, beginning with tonight.
I also don't believe, like one or two on here that Brian Noble has got a cat in hells chance of been considered for the job and rightly so in my opinion, I just don't think he is the answer.
I personally think the club will wait and see what happens during the next couple of games, before deciding whether to give the job to Poching or someone else on a short term basis while looking and then deciding on a longer term candidate for the coaching job.
