Even then he'd probably be a rubbish one.
Craig Hall's whole career has been built on glimmers of promise all of which has been unfulfilled.
Rubbish at full back.
Not great on the wing
Rubbish at centre
ok back up at 6
As we were going into the season with Kelly and Balir as our only halves keeping him as back up might have made a bit of sense. Now we have TC as main 6 and Blair as back up there is no where for him to fit in.
He was average when he left and he looks to have gone miles backwards from that.

I certainly hope not, always failed to deliver on his early potential and like someone else has already said on here, he appears to have gone miles backwards since he left the club.
It would be a massive backward step for Rovers in my opinion if this were to be true, it certainly would not fill me with confidence for the future if this is the sort of signings we are thinking of making.

| Makes no sense, but then again, neither did our last purchase from Wakefield.

| We've just lost Goulding. Charlie is having some wobbles at full-back (plus Chessie said he was going to spell Boudebza on Friday before Mantallato pulled out...that doesn't sound like he's expecting Lunt back any time soon) and we may be looking at being without Campese for a bit.
Craig Hall might be as good a fix as we can hope for at the moment.

If Salter is struggling, give Hallett a go.
Cockayne shouldn't be full back, Dixon needs a run there.
If Lunt doesn't make it back then Cockayne to back up hooker.
Campo out and Blair in.
2 of these changes puts players into the positional numbers they wear on their backs. None of these problems would be made any better by bringing back Craig Hall.

You might as well play without a full back as have Craig Hall there.

| Oh jeez, I really hope this is a false rumour.
Firstly, there's enough people who can't tackle in our team.
Secondly, Blair and Kelly can be the halfs for time being.
And third, he's crap at full back or centre.

| I hope this is pure rumour. I would rather go with the little we have as Hall would be no better in any of the positions he will be able to fill.

| Hally? No thanks, we appreciate your service but let's move on. Besides, didn't he feature yesterday in Smiths 1st game at Wakey?
Full Back? Guzdek would be better.
Wing? We are more than covered.
Centre? As BR points out, give Hallett another go.
Back up half? Blair, Marsh, Robinson.
Hiring utility players like Hall is a sure fire way to halting the progression of home grown youth.

| Agree with sir Stan if he is to come into replace goulding then that would be a huge step backwards bigger than when we signed mika to replace Clint, anyway hall is rubbish far to many poor games to good games i would rather Hallett get more game time then have hall back
