He's not going to leave you "asap." End of the season perhaps, but not now. It would be a huge mistake to let him leave.

If it is true then you need to tell him that he is free to talk to them but he's not leaving mid season. Unless they are offering mega bucks in which case letting him leave might be a risk worth taking.

personally i would think if we want to keep Terry i think he would be more than happy to stay, never had the pleasure of meeting him but i wouldn't ever believe his integrity was questionable, he seems to love being here and we love him so he won't go anywhere

He won't leave mid-season, and any decision beyond that will not be considered until his family arrive in the UK in the next few weeks. I did hear a whisper about joining his mate over at Warrington for 2016, but that was just pub chat in the Cricketers on Sunday.

I would be surprised if rovers had not already entered into talks regarding an extension to his contract, as someone else has already mentioned, he does seem to really like it here.

Issue with him will be salary, Rovers will have him on a good deal as the Raiders will be paying part of his salary this year, next year they won't, so will Rovers be able to pay the extra or will TC take a paycut, if he continues his good form he will be in high demand.

Given that all SL clubs have the same cap (in my naïve world we all stick to the rules) then Wigan, Wire etc will all face the same issue when his current deal with Rovers (ably sponsored by Canberra) comes to an end.

Of course, Koukash's marquee player rule could throw all that guff out the window.

His fitness this year, will go along way to the sort of wedge his agent can get from us/others for his next deal.

Supposedly Wigan are willing to offer a nice wedge and 2 of their young players on loan for the rest of the season, if this turns out to be true who will the young uns be

It doesn't matter who they are because if we even consider letting such a pivotal player as Campese go to Wigan or anywhere else for that matter, then we will really struggle imo and it could possibly be the difference between top eight and fighting relegation.
In my opinion, if we are ever to move forward as a club then at some point we have to start retaining these type of quality players, build around them and stop this conveyor belt of good players going to other clubs every year to exhibit their skills, otherwise we are just going to go around in circles or worse... fall of the cliff completely.
