I don't usually go to this friendly but was going to go because of the amount of new players on show so was hoping I could pay on the gate but it seems there is going to be a lot of messing about so I'm not bothering

Im heading over to support my team but fear we are heading straight into an ambush. To be fair to Radders he seems to have got things spot on this pre season and had them all back in on 1st November. Plus they all had a game last week to blow the cobwebs off. We will be a long way behind in our preparations due to our players arriving in dribs and drabs, our captain only arrived 2 weeks ago, plus most havnt had a game yet. And we have injuries!
Crikey its going to be a hiding!

It's not possible for any team to take this more seriously than FC did last year. Never seen such exuberance after a try. |

I think FC need this one more than ever. They need to convince fans without season passes to go out of their way to buy a ticket should they decide to attend a game next season.

Yeah, they performed well in their games last week by all accounts and seem to have come through some of the issues that plagued them last year. I'm expecting them to be improved on last season, over the course of the coming one, certainly.
No idea what Rovers will be, which is both fascinating and scary. First real hints today, I guess - and as there's very little on the result, it should offer an opportunity to make some dispassionate, if very, very preliminary, assessments. |
