If I was an understudy at Wigan I doubt I would sign for us as an understudy, I would think that he was promised a regular spot (form & injury allowing) or there would be no point.

| Not bad at all, quite like what I have seen from him. Not likely to stay with us but will certainly do a good job for a year. Losing two players so late on ain't been good prep so I'm pretty happy with this signing.

| Or just more chance at a regular spot? He ain't breaking in to the wigan pack anytime soon where with 1 or 2 injuries he will ours. Will battle with green/cox for prop spot and Donaldson for the 13 Jersey IMO

| Been a regular in their 17 most of the season I think. By reading the comments he will slot in at 13.

| He played about 10+ games for us on DR took him a few games to settle in, then after that he was our best player for the last 7 games of the season especially in the derby against Whitehaven getting MOM he averaged about 65+ mins a match playing LF, prop and second row for us so he can fill in anywhere, Was hoping we would get him again this season gutted we haven't. Hope greg goes well for use and gets his chance he deserves it.

| In his first few games for the first team the lad looked like he'd be a first choice regular for the next 10 years but he got left out one week and hasn't seen much first team action since. I'm not 100% sure why but I think he's a cracking player! He looked so comfortable in those games I mention getting through loads of work and as already stated he's a very good ball player.
I think he'd be best used as a loose forward being allowed to play a bit or as a prop in that James Graham mould of mixing it up and ball playing at the line (a budget version obviously).

| You've got a top quality ball handler in Burke he wont score many 100 metre try's but what you will get is a tough tackler with a very clever rugby brain for his age and the ability to slip a pass. He could be just what you need to make the play-offs this year it seems Chris Chester has been quite methodical in his recruitment and i think you will hurt team in the second half this year.
