For me kevin larroyer has been terrific,2nd in the tackles made to josh hodgson,one handling error all season(on sunday v wakey),makes ground every time he gets the ball,plays the full 80 mins every game,yet seems to go unnoticed.
On the subject of signing players on long contracts, he would be near the top of my list to change the loan deal to a 3/4 year deal if he and catalans were willing to deal. Any thoughts ?

Yes, been very impressed with him so far, great work rate and fully deserves his first team spot.
Would be nice to see him get a bit of space now and again and hoping he can maintain his form in the higher pressure games.

He is European so not on the quota but France is counted as a different federation so he would be non federation trained.

I don't believe this to be true. Catalans are a member of the rfl and thus part of the same rugby league federation as the rest of super league, meaning any French player brought through by Catalans, or Toulouse count as fed trained players.

It would be incredibly harsh and counter productive to count them otherwise - and would give Catalans a significant advantage in retaining their players...

Quick look on rfl site and it refers to the federation as rlef so you are right. I thought it was this rule that stopped them leaving but it may be the lifestyle

A massive statement to say he's the best SR since Newton but then there haven't been too many. Still plenty of work to do before he's that high in my estimations but certainly has all of the skills to go above them and surpass what Newton did at the club.

He's also out of contract at the end of this year so we will be free to make him an offer half way through this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see us get him on a 3 year deal.

All depends on how we are looking coach wise come Easter though.

His contract is with Catalans and he's been loaned to us I presume

I'm pretty sure Larroyer is contracted to Catalans for 2015.

I'd definitely put a deal on the table to him as soon as we can
