The Cory Parker part is mentioned on the Broncos forum (albeit, to the ESL)!
The Mika link with Widnes was mentioned on their board the other week.
If this does happen then Parker won't come cheap which perhaps suggests there is 'new' money after all on the horizon.

Can't see it happening, Mika looked very fit in a pic in HDM the other day, I reckon he's gonna have a very good season with US next year.

Would be a better acquisition than Mika wouldn't he? That saying though, Mika looks in prime shape pre-season, I think he could go well next year!

There were posts on the TIW message board a few week ago regarding Mika coming to us, but there didn't seem to be much substance to it at the time. I think it was raised on here but everyone seemed to think it was unlikely.
Maybe something has happened since? Widnes have been playing their cards very closely to their chests regarding recruitment for 2013 so "reliable sources" have been few and far between. There has been major concern amongst fans that we are going to be light on bodies come the new campaign having let a number of borderline back up players leave without bringing in replacements.
Mika would be a welcome addition if there was any truth in the rumour, but our desperate need is for a hooker of the quality of McShane who we had on loan from Leeds for the back half of the season.

Aye because all players show the same effort and commitment to training don't they. Westerman is a prime example from your own team. Allegedly one of the worst trainers at Hull and this pre season he's shining. |
