If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Frederick Douglas:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_30596.jpg

The off season hasn't even started yet, we'll have nothing to talk about at this rate.

Swap Salter & Welham around, tighten the defence.

ET will be a starting prop. That's his game. I'd like to see Hodgson @ 13 with Lovegrove running a bit wider as a 2nd row. Mika probably best used as impact of the bench. If we don't sign another winger I'll be disappointed, we need extra pace on the edges to be more clinical in attack and more recovery speed in defence. The prospect of Hall @ full back is an exciting one, but I think he needs a good start.

What is it with this Hall to full back idea? Did anyone not see his half baked attempts in that position when he played for them? I know he's improved but he's still prone to brain farts, and at full back that usually means a try to the opposition.

He's the best centre we have, but he gets put anywhere but centre by the keyboard coaches on here.

Definitely not a full back, but I disagree with him being the best centre. Centre is possibly the hardest position to defend in in the modern game and we all know about Hall's problems there. I still see him as a stand off.

I must admit i would be a little concerned about him been given the fulback position because as you say he is prone to those brain farts that could cost us big time in games, he is a much better player at centre or even o/h imo.
I was very sceptical about Sherrif been given the fullback position a few weeks ago but after his recent perfomances i would'nt mind seeing there on a regular basis, plus he will only get better with more first team experience.

I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell:30566.jpg

Sheriff at 1 and Hall at 6 for me, with Burns directing the forwards from 13. I would be happy to see a young lad given a run on the wing if he shows up well in pre season, if not maybe Salter could give it a go, look at Charnley at Wigan.

As for captain, Dobson is the guy for me.

He will be announced after the London game (well, next week) along with one maybe two others.

I don't even think Rovers would get away with squeezing Manuafkose onto our quota Jake.
