| As I mentioned in the match thread, in attack we look to have better options, but the defence is if anything worse then last season. Not sure what the problem is, poor tackling near the line, and the positional sense of the players seem to be the main problem?.

| Makes you wonder if all those who were demanding justin go were right after all. I have to say that if sandercock communicates with the players like he does the press then there's no wonder you're a shambles

| Your left edge was shocking, lazy behind the ruck too.

Sandercock's been fine with the press, comes accross as a quietly spoken articulate man, you might want to get over the bitterness that you arn't the top team in the City anymore before making obviously untrue comments, and if we are a shambles what does that make Hull FC after the past few seasons?.

| I thought when we looked good we looked really good - defence and attack. Unfortunately we didn't sustain it anywhere near long enough. Our try late in the first half was against the run of play, in all honesty. Weird game all round - what happened with the break for their 1st half try, where Kearney just took it off Clinton (I think)? Had Clinton stopped?
I think we're showing some good signs, it is just very, very patchy.
On a side note, the bias in Sky's coverage was pretty bad, I thought, and reminded of the final round of last season when it was all about Cas. I expect it against Saints and Wigan, but rubbish-era Bradford and Cas - get stuffed. HKRTV was already making Sky sports look much poorer value, without the commentary team rubbing salt into my wounds with really, really undisguised glee. There's plenty of gormers who'll do that for free for me on here.

| To be fair to Clarkey he was amused when my mate asked him at halftime if his Margin meter had rovers winning by 3 figures after 10 minutes.

| IMO the route problem is the team's lack of patience - they feel like they need to score on every set regardless of the scoreline.
A lot of Bradford's breaks came from errors from our own possession when we were trying to be too fancy when a turn over near the opposition's line would suffice.
The team showed the can be quite devastating when they have their game in order but they need to show more patience and better game-management which is maybe an area of our game where we miss Blake Green.

Understand comment about Green however as he's not played yet do we know if he's been missed? and the sign of a good team is to make sure he isnt.

Totally agree mate so I hope the players start to show teams more respect because they thought they'd blow Bradford away tonight but they made some really stupid and unnecessary plays which cost them.

| Don't think you played poorly at all tbh, just beaten by the better side at the end of the day. First half you absolutely took the game to bradford, they had chances, but didn't take them, your defense was spot on first half, then second half bradfords forwards took hold of the game, i think sandercocks rotation of your forwards cost you today, the second bradfords pack come on top, they only looked like one winner, they sucked your wide players in with ease, and then shipped it out wide with the cut out ball/fast hands, and had you on the overlap each time. Bradford will surprise a few this season, and i reckon they'll deffo be a top 8 team this season, huddersfield next week for you guys, that'll be a tough one.

Catalans away, then Hudds the week after that. Both tough.
As I said in a previous post, it was a weird game. Given that Bradford had a few out and lost Kopczak too, and that in spells we played really well, it's disappointing - certainly the most disappointing result so far. Lacked a bit of leadership and brains at times - lot of weight on Dobson's shoulders and his game reflected Rovers', in a curate's egg stylee. Lost it big style at the end, for a third time this season. Against Leeds and Wire that'll happen from time to time - without wanting to disrespect Bradford we have to look more at ourselves on this occasion.
