| Looking at clips of Rovers recent signings (I know they mostly show the flashy stuff), then reading that Craig Sandercock is concentrating on defence, it got me wondering what sort of team are Rovers building for next season?
A mean defensive side?....no one seems to be an out and out tackling machine
A team of off-loading forwards?....to run the opposition ragged so the backs can work their magic.
or
A well balanced side that will be frugal when giving points away yet armed with skilled ball handlers?
I am hoping for the latter
Any of the oracles out there have any thoughts?

| His big coaching influence is Des Hasler.
That means he will start with defence, and then look at attack.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| I had my nephew round the other week, to shut up him I got out some retro wooden building blocks that I'd excitedly bought waiting for Eve to arrive, When he left I got onto playing with them, I stacked them into the tallest tower, ever, It was nearly touching the ceiling!
The Health Visitor arrived and she was like "Ooh you have a toddler too?", "No, Just me."

| Let's keep this one as a sensible rugby thread. cheers.
I hope we've a bit more variety in attack. Early impressions are that Sandercock seems to want a flexible and balanced approach. Given our one paced and fairly conservative approach under JM (not that it was ineffective, especially circa 2009), I'm expecting a little bit more fun in attack, without us turning in to the Harlem Globetrotters. And more aggressive defence - gut feeling.

Sorry MR couldn't resist I'm pretty confident we could give the Harlem globe trotters a run for theyre money next season on a serious note what's stuck out for me is at training next week he wants the players fitness assessing one by one and if they're not up to scratch the hard work will begin, if Craig starts as he means to go on then I think we will see a totally different outfit in every respect next season.

| A collection of overseas rejects? A team that makes a Justin Morgan Hull KR team look like a full English team? At least Justin had an excuse.

You're back, again.
If these so called rejects are of the calibre of Dobson & Green, who cares?
It's when you're signing people like Tony Martin you want to be worried, Now come on, Post something nice over here once in a while.
