| Hull Kingston Rovers v Huddersfield Giants 5.45pm (SKY)
Ref S Ganson TJ T Martin TJ C Leatherbarrow RR R Cowling VR T Alibert TK C Morris MC G Kershaw
...
lots of high shots and skullduggary then...
but i will not blame the ref if we lose because atm we don`t look anywhere near good enough to win and this is one of our bogey teams as well.
i`m afraid all i see is a points fest for hudds this weekend.

| I have no problem with Ganson. Lets face it, as long as we avoid the Child we can't complain too much.
If we don't get into the contest, the ref will be the least of our worries.

| ganson tries to let games flow, so lots get missed, but as i said after that, we are not playing anywhere near good enough atm.
Hudds will be hurting and looking to bounce back from the wigan game and tbh we couldn`t have got them at a worse time... on the back of a loss and us playing absolute tosh.

| Ganson is the best referee because he lets the game flow, which we could really do without if, Hudds get on top and as their gang, slow tackling will be on display it will go unpunished. Damnit.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I think it is the Rovers fans way of dealing with things mate. Across the city when they face a bit of adversity they start on-line petitions, set up fake twitter accounts and generally have a good moan. On the other hand, us Robins just log-off, watch cash in the attic and pretend its not happening.

My on line petition was rubbish, only got fifteen signatures, think I'll bin it off.

It gets funnier over on The Dark Side, they've started a mass email campaign now and apoplectic that they're not getting individual personal replies from Rule and co.

They'll go absolutely chicken oriental when Berrigan's Bitch delivers Mason's passport and Dobson is re registered.
Fun times.

It is now impossible to troll over there - they're more negative than I've ever been even when doing my 'alternative voice' bit. Think they'll beat Quins tbh, but if not I can see Agar getting the bullet - it'd be getting to the point of it being a mercy.
On the other hand it is quiet here. Nice change or a bit eery - what do we think?
Hudds. My team...
Briscoe, Fox, Webster, Welham, Hall; Murrell, Green; Clinton, Cockayne, Watts, Mason, Galea, Netherton.
Interchange: Hodgson or Fisher, Wheeldon, Lovegrove, Taylor.
My rationale...
Listing Murrell at stand-off means I wouldn't have to listen to people complain that he's not a 7, when we clearly play left and right split halfbacks. Tell people he's at 6 and they'll be happier. That's quite provocative for me, innit?
Cockayne at 9 is in the hope that he'll start a game more disciplined rather than come dashing on later and do something whole-hearted but dozy. Fisher or Hodgson would do more minutes there, but Cockayne offers better cover for injuries than picking them both - and I think we need 3 big forwards on the bench. Hopefully Clinton will be back to something like his old self - that goes for a few actually.

| Clinton prefers the drier firmer grounds so they say. There has been no rain for over a week ground is nice and dry and firm so he should start to produce the goods. Will be interesting to see how he goes this week if picked in the 17.l
