absolute madness that Rovers are taking legal advise about the coverage of their finances. The accounts are published and available for public viewing, so what exactly is wrong with the HDM bringing it to the public's attention?
Hull City have also had many headlines about their finances this year, yet I don't see them whinging about press coverage.
also HullFC have had negative financial headlines in previous years.
it is not 'unfair scrutiny' it is simply comment and discussion about financial accounts that are in the public domain.

Would be surprised if Rovers issue proceedings without founding... Notice the Mail have removed the article from their index. ... you can find it by other means tho'  |

Indeed, Rovers obviously have something thats aggrieved them that they believe they can win whatever legal proceedings are undertaken. Wouldnt be the first time that someone has taken legal action thinking theyre in the right and then lost though would it. Believing you have a case isnt the same as winning a case.
FWIW, liable cases like this are extremely hard to prove anything and are hugely expensive and time consuming. I'd be surprised if anything comes of it tbf.
