Don't see how Fitzy got MOM, fell over the line twice is all he did. Tried kicking and it was just laughable.

I was surprised too but as I thought it would be difficult to pick out one player in a great team performance and I actually said late in the game I bet it will be a strange decision and someone like Fitzy who I agree made some strange decisions but got the tries at the important time.
I would have gone for 1. Cockayne 2. Webster 3. Briscoe but also thought Vella was outstanding to

| The whole team played well, 1st half defensive display layed the foundations for a good attacking 2nd half, great performance from the lads.....feel proud to be a rovers fan today. Just going out for a couple of jugs to celebrate a fine victory

I'm glad Fitzhenry got MOM, I thought he did well all game and actually took control around the ruck. The two exceptions were when he had no one either side of him and had pretty much no choice but to kick himself. OK the attempted 40-20 was crap.
I've been saying for the past few games, he's our most in-form player IMO, and showing great from towards the play-offs which is what we want.

1. Fitzhenry
2. Welham
3. Colbon
Fitzy: see above.
Welham: I don't remember him missing a tackle and had an all-round great game.
Colbon: made some great yards to get us out of some tight spots.

| I agree with Fitzy, its ok to slate his kicks but look at the kick cock-ups made by Dobbo and Cookie, it was more to do with the wind.
1. Fitzy (was at the heart of everything and tackled well)
2. Cooke (some excellent plays went through him, he tackled really well)
3. Dobbo (made space available a lot, good game)
They all played well, but the above three stood out.

| I get fed up with some people who slate Fitzy. Apart from that 1 mistake when he kicked out on the full he was excellent throughout and scored two crucial tries. He is arguably the best support player at the club and is always on hand to finish off and score after a break in midfield. He has some great skills, is very quick and can come up with a magic piece of play on the cuff.
