| Been sent out on loan to Widnes by the chuckle brothers and all indications look like he'll be allowed to look for another club during the off-season.
Should we be interested?
I'm sure the likes of Justin, Chester and Andrew Webster could get his career back on the right track.

| Yes. Potentially a really good player. Is a different style of player to what we currently have in the centres. Can get on the outside of his man and has a fair turn of speed. Defensively he would need some work and some size. He would also add good cover at wing, centre and full back (  ). | | |

he's not a bad player and think he's been given a raw deal by fc as it wasnt just him who had a dip in form.
Personally to i dont see where he would fit in our back 5.
we have best full back in super league and charlie as back up
two very good wingers with charlie/fitzy as back up
3 very good centres to cover the 2 spots.
think he is good enough for super league, especially with ball in hand, oh yer, and a decent coach, but dont think there is a place for him at rovers.

Players go to whichever club is willing to give them a decent / better contract....they are proffesionals and wether supporters rate them or not is irrelevant, it's the coach who decides who comes and who goes. | | |

I agree, but it takes time to develop a youngster from the academy, although Kris Welham is an exception.
They should be given National League experience, players like Spaven and Mariano and then progress from there. |

Of course he can still develop, as can any player! Well most.

If the RFL grew some balls and said in 2011 there will be only one Aussie/Kiwi/PNG/Frencie allowed in each team then SL clubs would have to play youngsters.
Hull could nearly do it now, as could a couple of other clubs, but the comp would not suffer in excitment terms, only skill levels perhaps for the first season or so.
If you watch the Thursday night Championship games I am sure you will agree most are really good games and exciting. There aint many Aussies kicking about in those games except the Gateshead cheaters or whatever they are called now.
It really annoys me, and plenty of other people in the game, that young kids are forced to play in a meaningless Reserve comp or go back to Amateur in order to play every week when there are overpaid Aussies taking their place. |
