Now you guys have suffered the same fate as we did at Cas what do you all think of the golden point rule???

I think its naff, not the best way to settle a game at all.
Extra time should be played - I do not have a problem with losing by a drop goal but with the golden point it just becomes a drop goal marathon.
We never even got a chance to have a go at Cas, we kicked off and then 5 drives later Cas won.
In todays game it was drop, drop, drop and with Lee Briers on the pitch Warrington always had the best chance of getting one over. He once kicked 5 at the Shay!
Hard luck guys, we are down to one Yorkshire team now in the semis Cas or Huddersfield.

But if Fax had won, you, like us, had we got the point would have been more than happy with it.

I think Fax have more reason to be gutted because let's be fair The Jungle pitch is only about 60 yards long, you can drop a goal there from behind your own line with a back wind.

No, no complaints, games over, Warrington won, much applause and credit to them.

it's a silly rule, we should of played 10mins eachway, then golden goal if the scores are still level..

It is a silly rule but then we have many silly rules in the game and contentious ones at that. I think extra time wouuld be better as it does get silly with every set of 6 going for a drop.
Other option is a replay but obv not many people would be happy with that with extra expence and more games for the players

We might have lost by the 'golden point' but we should never have been in that position, at 22-12 we should have buried them, we deserve what we got.

Disagree - I thought Rovers were favourites at that point with both Cooke and Dobson on the pitch.

Its the rules & as said I would have been happy to win with the rules, But the bit that makes it a lottery is the toss if you recive the ball you dictate field position & as was shown Rovers were kept at thier own end. No grumbles good luck to the wire.

Think that's a bit unfair TBH. Wire had much more firepower up front than Rovers, and eventually that told. Rovers did a lot of defending against a very big pack and just tired enough towards the end of the game for Wire to come back.

Think your players were trying their damnedest to the end.

It may be a silly rule but i bet if you ask the coaches they would prefer it mainly due to fatigue and next weeks games in mind.

We need a big bruising prop and one who can offload the ball in the tackle, we don't seem to keep the ball alive as well as other teams.

I was disappointed in defeat, but not at all with the lads on the pitch, gave it their all and that is all you can ask. We had a few brain farts on the last tackles and paid the price, but the players are only human and unfortunately it went against them today.

I sang my heart out for them today (literally have NO voice) because they played their hearts out for us. Even in defeat, I am an extremely proud Robin today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I meant generally, and over the last few weeks. I knew we'd get beat today, all I've heard about since a narrow victory over Sheffield is "Two steps from Wembley", "Gene eyes Wembley swansong", "Morgan aims for Wembley" etc. etc. etc. Frankly, it was starting to get on my nerves.

I agree with you. Warrington have one of the best, if not the best front row in the league. I think we should have had a bigger bench.

The effort today was unquestionable.

Nahh I totally disagree, Briers is the king of the drop goal, unfortunately.
