Here at The Duke of Cumberland in Cottingham we are renowned for
ur quality home cooked food, and indeed, our portion sizes!
Wherever possible our food is bought from local suppliers and carefully prepared in house to ensure, quality home cooked meals for our customers.
We serve food everyday until 7.30pm .
We also have two fuction rooms available for hire ,for that special occasion or your club meeting .We also provide a full catering service .

|  To the parents of the young boy (5/6 yrs) + his older sister (9/10) ,who were walking down newland avenue around 6.30 last night . All wearing HRK shirts having a good old sing song of when The Red Red robin , at the top of their voices .This itself was bad enough ,Then dad noticed my car registrated plate . Then he bursted into a chorus of WA%K* WA%K* HULL FC. At first the young lad didnt quite get the words right ,after a little more effort from dad both the kids was spot on with their words to the chant . The look of glee from both mum and dad was a picture . Hope you are pleased with yourselfs mum and dad .  |

Obviously morons, but we have them on both sides, shall we have a pi$$ing contest about who's worst, I could tell you about the woman who frightened my (then) 4 yr old daughter into not wanting to go to a game again.

I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO

Same happened to me a few years ago when a family of hull fans walked passed my car on queens rd at the traffic lights, when rovers where in the lower leagues. I got the biggest amount of verble abuse possible. Just laughed and said see you at the kc in a few seasons. They said no chance i said every chance. Once more proven correct.

And the group of kids I walked past on the way down Preston Road yesterday, who chanted 'red and white sh*te' at us. As said above, it's not big, it's not clever, but sadly it's more a sign of society than specific rugby teams, we all have them |
