On the fact when lovegrove got involved in the incident this inspired him to return and even surpass his previous form,now this concerns me to think we often get cheated by players and this certainly does not only apply to said player but I pay good brass to watch them and feels this should not happen but do appreciate they are human ( rant over and out)

Rhys was elbowed in the face simple as that and was disappointed he retaliated as he did -- listening to the commentary he was totally slagged off for his response. His improved form resulted primarily from the fact he was playing left side second row -- his preferred position. He will obviously play for HKR wherever required (he has played every position apart from half, hooker and full back) but unfortunately has always had to defer to more "high profile" and much higher paid players for the left side second row spot. Rhys played left side second row at all times in Australia even representing Australian Schoolboys and NSW 17 and 19 year old State of Origin sides in this his natural position, he will always play his best footy from the left side second row. To be fair he was told to wear his "angry pants" for this game as he was a couple of years behind Justin Poore right thru High School and we knew Justin would not take kindly to playing second fiddle to Rhys in any way. Have no fear, Rhys holds the Rovers fans, particularly those who pay their hard earned money to attend games in far too high a regard to "cheat" any of them, he is well aware of the value of a pound and earns every penny he receives giving 100% at training, playing and representing the Club. Your interest in Rhys and comments are always appreciated.

This is why I love free debate, I have opened myself up for vitriol from my fellow fans, I think Rhys is a very committed pro player however I was making a general statement from observation and used Rhys as a (possibly unfair) example of life in general where we don't always perform to the max,note players performances improving near contract renegotiations and as a paying supporter find it frustrating. Hi oyster bay I am guessing here but thanks for your boys service at our club and I do appreciate him in a rovers shirt, especially after someone winds him up

Although Wakefield, were at the best a poor side, not taking anything away from Rovers, they have proved once again what they can do. All they have to do is the same every week,improve on defence especially out wide is still required to be improved. I was happy with there performance especially considering the absentees

i agree with most i know rhys and his soon to be wife libby and we share coffee somtimes and have a chat and rhys is mr hull kr he loves the club it proved it last season by taking a big pay cut that him and libby just could not really afford he is studying at uni and they have another baby on way in august. but he is committed to kr and said after next year he wants 1 more year then he will retire having done 10 years at kr

Some time ago i started a post do our players give 100% I did not think for 1 minute that lovegrove was that sort of player, when i have seen him play he gives 100% and more, if certain other players did the same we would now not be saying get rid of the coach

Jake has just had a knee operation as far as I know and Ryan McGoldrick was doing some Yorkshire radio work !
