The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Here is some advice.
In future actually read an article before you post and comment on it as it will stop you looking a fool.

Don't spoil it for him, he thought hed come up with something witty and that he'd be the envy of all his mates, and you shoot him down, poor lad.

Now far be it from me going against anybody having a go at Rovers, but what are you on about?
The very first line is a statement about cutting down on Aussie players,so whats your point?

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

As other posters have pointed out, you need to read the article in the context it was meant. Because of the change in the salary cap in Australia plus the excange rate and tax law changes, it is going to be nigh on impossible for any super league clubs including Wigan and Waringtom etc, to attract big name Ausies over here in the future, at least not without taking a huge slice of their salary caps.
Therefore it is for that reason that i believe most clubs in super league will have to look closer to home and in particular their home grown talent i.e. under 20s etc for their future stars.
Hull kr imo are not in too bad a position with some very good prospects coming through the ranks though it will be a year or two before one or two of them will come to the fore.
During this time i think it makes good sense to sign players like Taylor and Hodgson on long term deals with James Green and Salter not far behind and retain the services of Galea etc to help bring them on, plus a couple of good Australian signings of the calibre of Blake Green and Micheal Dobson if they can be found for the right price.
With regards to Ben Galea, personaly i would love the club to offer him a coaching position at Rovers after he hangs up his playing boots, as his experience and knowledge would be invaluable in helping the younger talent coming through in the future.

Well done, no really, that is simply amazing. How someone can interpret that article so catastrophically wrong is something very special. Do you ring in to radio Humberside by any chance?

Now this is crass, coming from an idiot who can't be bothered (or is unable) to actually read the article properly.

| Im sure this was part of the reason they went with Sandercock as head coach, given he has a proven track record in Australia of bringing through young players into first team squads successfully.
I think this is a smart move, if we can budget well to afford maybe 2 or 3 marquee signings/1st team squad members and bring through a large number of the rest of the team internally it will put us in good stead, Its a tactic that seems to serve the likes of Leeds and Wigan well

| It is excellent forward planning to secure the long term future of Hull KR. The sound foundations have been laid in the past 5 seasons and with the North Stand underway and plans for the South Stand progressing it is time to concentrate on bring through the young local lads, as part of this new directions, the Hull KR Supporters Association was launched successfully this week. The association is an independently constituted group with its core purpose to help and assist the Evolution and Youth Development of the Rugby Club's future stars. Although independent, the association has the full backing of everybody at the Club from the President, Colin Hutton, through to the Players both past and present. Together we can all play our part in bring Hull KR back to its former glories, whilst this will not happen overnight, all good things are woth waiting for.

There's no need to be rude. So I posted the wrong link, (that was a bit daft, i know) the fact is you currently have ELEVEN overseas players, now that is ridiculous, why do you need so many ?
Thought licensing was brought in to help the English game, i.e. prevent clubs (espescially newly promoted ones) signing Aussies/Kiwis's for a short term fix. There might be other clubs who have almost as many 'overseas players' as you lot, actually there probably is.
In the championship division's, think you're only allowed 1 or 2, similiar rules should be enforced in SL.
No wonder England RL themselves look for any NRL players, who's grandmother once visited Scotland.
Each club just look after themselves (rightly so) but it's crap for our national side.
Best not mention Willie Mason eh ?

Deary me it seems you are still missing the point that EVERYBODY else grasps and instead of actually reading what was written you commented on what you hoped it said.
I'll say to you again actually READ an article instead of just guessing what it says and you won't end up looking foolish.
Also the fact you mention Willie Mason confirms you haven't understood one piece of the article seeing as he was directly used as a bad example.
