I doubt it as I can't see me getting that wound up by it. I'm seriously at the point where I go to watch RL because it's just something I have always done.

Bar Wigan, we managed to beat and lose to every side in the competition. That's us in a nutshell.

We achieved our realistic objective by finishing 8th. I think we've improved a lot from 2012, but the gap to the upper echelon has increased further in my eyes.

I don't think the gap to the top 4 has widened, if anything they have gotten worse, not seen any improvement from Wigan, Wire, Leeds. Only the Giants have improved but that has been aided by a general weakening of the league.

I think its debatable whether we have improved, with a full squad we look better, but our depth looks very thin and once we dip into it it seriously affects the team. Positives in some of the younger forwards looking good but we need some quality in depth.

I guess any improvement wasn't too hard in reflection to the awful finish we had in 2012. But just looking into the stats to try and back up some improvement I can't find any. We conceded more/scored less - record defeat, not good in isolation, but we did win 3 more games. I guess I'm biasing the improvement on some young uns coming in and some good wins in adversity. Our aggression was good in the forwards, but old bad habits still need addressing.

I agree the standard of the league maybe worse overall, but I just don't see us being anywhere nearer these top teams or likely to be in the near future. They're in a position to invest heavily on youth and/or snapping up other teams' best up and coming. Will we be in position to keep hold of our best players?
