| As an outsider to Hull KR I ask this question not with glee but with genuine interest in what is going to happen in 2014, when restructuring will be organised based on where the clubs finish up. (There is no doubt that whatever new system is chosen, the top tier competition of Super League will be reduced to 12 clubs at the maximum).
Dobson will be impossible to replace. He was a star not only at Hull KR, but before that at Catalans and Wigan. There are just not enough quality scrum halves in NRL, let alone Super League, to replace him with similar quality. The exciting scrum half prospect in Australia is Sam Williams, who is a reserve at Canberra. But he is not yet the finished product. It would be a risk throwing him into the battle of Super League without proper preparation Down Under.
Add on the loss of Cory Paterson, who has been outstanding for Hull KR, and you can see that the club's strike power will be diminished (Costigan can be a good defender, but not much in attack, certainly nothing compared to Paterson).
My projection is that Hull KR is going to drop to the bottom 4 in 2014. If so, where it sits in the bottom 4 will determiine which division it starts out in for the 2015 season.
Again, though I am a follower of Catalans (who are currently underperforming) and London (who are dire), I can assure you that I write this not in glee but just trying to be realistic.
Do Hull KR fans agree?

| The Artist formerly known as Albert Rosenfield finally loses his way to the VT and pays us a visit. We are honoured.
Please don't worry about us. Concentrate on decimating the English game for the sake of Toulouse.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| I wish people would stop believing the Paterson hype that Sky and the RL press give.He has missed far too many games and isn't the best(or worst) defender in the team. Lovegrove gave us just as much at that side of the pitch in CP's absence and will be an able replacement and Costigan will do a great job at 13 with Rhys moving to the left. Paterson has been a good but certainly not a great signing in the Dobson or Newton mould and goes with all our best wishes. Dobson on the other hand is gonna be a massive loss he is 'THE' man for us but with now having Burns who has a greater influence on the team every week that is a big step in the right direction because a new man especially if he's an OZ youngster which looks likely will need time to settle a la Jacob Miller at Hull but i'm sure we will be fine and i doubt we will be in bottom 4.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

believe it or not john we have been going for well over a hundred years and Michael Dobson has played for us or only 5 of those years over the years better players then him have left us and we have managed to keep going (we actually won the derby at the kc without him )so thanks for your concern but we will be fine
