| Lazy Sunday morning watching the rain out of the window, just a bit bored.
I'm obviously hoping for a big improvement on the effort shown last week, but I'm unconvinced by an untried half back pairing. Both Kelly & Blair have shone at times this season, but neither in an organising capacity. I hope we have some leadership out there today.
Somebody needs to (legally) bang Brown early, in much the same way as Newton did with Chase whenever we played Cas. Let him know he's a marked man, make him rush his decision making, as last year he never had a hand laid on him in 80 minutes.
With Walker back, I'm hoping for at least parity in the middle, but the rest of the pack have to man up otherwise it will be more of the same. Win or lose, I think our top 8 hopes have gone anyway, but we need to find some form for a big few weeks ahead.

| Must win game, lost and certainly out if the top 8 running.
Still think you have a chance if you win, as we the only game I'm confident we will win us Wakey at home, the rest we could easily lose.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

That doesn't make much sense but, I think I understand what you are trying to say.

'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'
Yves Le Prieur, the real inventor of the aqualung: |

| I cannot see us getting in the top 8 now, unless we get some players back and FC, Cats take a bit of a dive. Our pack will not stand up to the bigger packs and it's unlikely we will win too many if we cannot get on top in the forwards. If we cannot make the 8, I hope FC do as the last thing we need is a derby in the middle 8's.

Never thought about that, you are absolutely correct. Lets hope Radford continues to fire them upwards to avoid that possibility!

| I still think we have a chance of making the 8's, I don't think we've been playing badly, we're just that depleted in the front row that we are struggling to get up the pitch. With the right players coming back I say we could squeeze in there. But today is 10000000000000% must win for us. MUST WIN

| An entertaining afternoon, and in the end a reasonably comfortable win. However, lets not kid ourselves, that performance would not have been good enough to beat Warrington, or most of the other top 8 sides. Widnes were very poor.
Another 2 lost to injury, I expect Mantellato will be out for a couple of weeks but Green could be longer. Another prop down, we really need Tilse & Burke back asap.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Yeah, but to be fair, we're not Warrington.
We don't have their money and let's not forget how much of a development season this is.
Good teams don't turn over almost thirty players, we had to because of the state we got in with Sandercock.
Despite being in about the same league position as last year, we're a far better team with way, way more potential for seasons to come.
And Kelly has great hair.

| Top hair from Kelly with a Parliament/Funkadelic vibe.
We controlled the ruck much better today and our defence went forward rather than back. We were woeful during the second half on occasion.
Boudebza Kelly and Welham great today.
Welham deserves praise for turning his game around. Stopped jumping out the line and looks a centre again.
Baffled by the bigot over Dixon. Got away with mistakes he didn't against Cas.
Puletua to the back row now.
Chester should give up on the medical bulletins he is making everyone frustrated and clearly doesn't understand some of the injuries.

| John Boudebza was man of the match today IMO he is really at home in Super League now.
But how good was Graeme Horne? First game back from injury and he is up to speed straight away. I must have under rated him all these years either that or he has come into the form of his life these past 2 years.

| Very much agree squire, wasn't a player I was that excited about us signing but just does his job quietly and effectively every game.
He's never going to set the world on fire and I suspect he'd be the first to admit that, but his take, step and offload to Sio was top drawer centre play.
Very, very good to also see the team spirit and togetherness today, credit has to go to Chester for that.

Mate I wasn't suggesting we are, I only mentioned them in the context of them being next game up and we have to go up another gear to get the win.
Some good performances today, but it's got to get better to give us a half chance of the 8.
