HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God: |
|
| Well with
Cox and Galea now unavailable and Horne playing in the centre it makes sense to bring him in

He's OOC at the end of the season. Not sure why we would bother if it wasn't with a view to a permanent deal. I know we have a few injuries now but we've being trailing him when we had a fully fit squad.

| I would be very surprised if we dont give Laithwaite a new contract he is highly rated at Warrington. After Liam Watts walking out on you i would only assume Laithwaite is just a temporary replacement with both clubs gaining from the deal

Ben Currie is the next big thing though isn't he? If for Laithwaite staying at Warrington actually means a return to Leigh the prospect of playing a decent number of SL games might appeal.
Just a possibility, like. Can you imagine him in your 17 much next year?

| Probably the right time to bring some fresh blood in with a few injured forwards now, hopefully he can do a Charnley for us

| I hope it's just to get him SL experience and to also help you out while you've lost back rowers. He's a really hard worker and has got a few MOM awards at Leigh this season.
At the start of the season it wasn't expected that Chris Hill would play regular, but due to injuries he's played in nearly every game. So you never know who you may need for the 17.

Liam Watts walking out on us............LOL that made me chuckle.
He asked for a release as he wasn't getting any game time, We happily agreed best move for both parties.

Laithwaite is a 13 and is someone i expect will get some first team game time at some point. I think it all comes down to whether or not we sign John Bateman if we do then i would expect Laithwaite will move on. As for the Liam Watts walking out reply, why didnt Watts play enough? he always struck me as a very good player and probably one of your best forwards. But then again i dont watch Hull KR every week.

He is a massive talent but I think the heart and the required desire needed to reach his potential is lacking. He may well reach his potential at Hull. If he does they have signed a cracking young player.

Chuckle all you like but he has effectively walked out on us. He wanted to leave and we let him,

Or we could have just left him on the sidelines paying his wages for nothing
