Our sport is on a financial knife edge, with clubs in danger of collapsing. This is a hammer blow for the club, make no mistake.
I don’t understand the timing of this announcement, in the midst of CV19, and pass sales for 20/21 and much needed revenue needed, especially after this year, you would have thought steadying the ship into next season would have been more advantageous, then again whenever it happens it’s not good.
We are nearly all, rugby league supporters, and regardless of which colours we follow, without each other, there’s no game to watch.'"
Cheers.
It might be that the COVID-19 situation could have created a need to make a change, despite being reason to consider delay. The problem is that there'll always be a reason to delay - he's been doing so since April 2013, in the hope something will come along. It hasn't in over 7 years, what's to say it would in the next 7?
Some sort of different approach is clearly going to be needed. I guess Rovers fans will all have their own hopes and fears about what it might be.
