Hopefully Tony Smith sticks with him, he's still quite young and I really rate him as a half. It can't be easy if he's playing behind a beaten pack.

The pack wasn't really the problem. He ran too much ball himself and didn't provide much in ball distribution. We had strength last week, just no clear headedness and creative direction close to their line to break them down.

If Tony Smith has been working with him this week as one of the prime HBs we might see that change.

Think our club must have metaphorically speaking, walked under a ladder, then run over a black cat and smashed a mirror when falling over. All clubs get injuries but this is bloody ridiculous. Now our leading scorer could be crocked for months,unbelievable.

We lose at least one or two every single match,sometimes more. If this ever stops and we eventually get a team on the field with all our main pivots and strike players fit I really do think we will be ok. It seems like we have upset the rugby god somehow! I share your frustration, I suppose Wakefield supporters are feeling the same. What this does show I think is it exposes the plight of the whole game, when we can’t get a half decent replacement for any of our losses. There are a lot of players at all the clubs who would not be able to hold a regular place in the conference sides of 15 years ago. I was interested to hear Lee Radfords interview on the BBC when he commented on the lack of choice & numbers at youth level. Anyway as KR supporters it’s our turn to suffer & only hope it will turn out OK.
