8 points from 10 games so far, I think. Which for a team fighting relegation ain’t bad. It has been uneven, and the 4-pointers thing has been dispiriting, but he inherited a struggling team and has a long and mostly very positive record. See also Tim Sheens, admittedly.
We need some better players as well, in terms of fitness, talent and winning mentality, and we’ll see how that goes. However, I think this is positive in of itself (who better could we have found?), and hopefully is a sign that he thinks there is stuff to be positive about. Given recent history, i’m not getting carried away - but with plenty of other stuff to be negative about, a little bit of hope doesn’t hurt.
If we go down by 50+ today, I may edit this post though.

Brenko lee is the one i've heard 23yrs old,centre or wing from the gold coast,previously with canterbury and canberra,hes a big lad takes some stopping.Tony smith a great signing.

London just gone down to Leeds 10 -36, so that's helped our points difference between us and London. However, it's all about next week now. London are bound to be up for it and will come with all guns blazing. Rovers will have to be really up for it and play as a fully committed team, like they did yesterday. Plus all the fans need to be in full voice for this one. A win and we're safe. |
