| Quote: Gallanteer "You're obviously an FC fan in disguise or do not understand the game.
Sheens' methods were outdated. The previous week he had given these full time employees half the week off. This is something I doubt Smith will stand for.
He was constantly only using 3 subs and in interviews basically said the young lad left out was too much of a risk - how does that build confidence?
He blamed players not following his instructions - yet these were all players he chose, it was his fault they didn't follow him or was he just unclear, indecisive and not really coaching them?
Dagger was critisised about his interview - I personally found it refreshing to hear the truth about what many of us long suspected.
Atkin has been messed around by Sheens all season and Sheens constantly used Addy at hooker when EVERYONE saw how rubbish he was.
Thankyou Mr Sheens. You got us promoted and kept us in SL last year, but your coaching methods do not match what is needed in SL (and possibly modern RL).
Today we fielded a slightly younger side with more pace and we managed to play for 80 mins.
As for Neil, he has ploughed more money into the club than it probably deserves. He could have walked away at the end of 2016. Mr Hudgell has made a few mis steps over the years but he has earned the right to continue to do all he can to make Rovers a success.'"
Don’t talk rubbish. Knee jerk reactions cause relegations and that’s the situation we are in. As for the outdated bullsh*t your talking about...why is old crows like Wayne Bennett still managing at the top and doing well? The man is a wizard and a legend of the game and the way it was handled I hear from a insider and a old friend of mine it was disgraceful. Anyhow good win today RRTR

| It is no suprise that Hall has signed an extension now Sheens has gone.
It might be too late for Chris Atkin though who probably got too annoyed with being messed around.
Smith's team selection and the energy he has brought to the club was why we won yesterday.
Of course, we still have to back it up against London that are full of confidence at the moment.

| Tony Smith will be your best signing for many a year. He is great at revitalising a club, getting a solid game plan together that they have to buy into and playing at right at the right end of the table and winning more than you lose.
If he can do that for you lot then you will be in Ga Ga land, but I think he will do it for you.
I think you'll stay up now, and you'll have 4 or 5 seasons of lets say...enjoying watching your side.
If FC can keep progressing and Smith can bring something to you guys, then how great would it be to have another period like we had between 78-85.
Would be great for Rugby in this City and for the game in general.....and it would be nice to have some real opposition in the Derbys lol.
The only question mark with Smith is he seems to have a shelf life, whereby he feels he has to leave or the team and supporters tend to just fall out of love with him. Even after the success he brought Warrington their board was fed up to the back teeth with him by the time he did finally leave.
But I bet they appreciate what he did for them now when they look back.
So good luck with that one, but not too much of course. Just stay around 4th place for a few years and don't actually win anything proper.
