I don't want to come across as patronising and that will be hard, but the way round the cap is to create your own players. The fact that all clubs have the same amount of money to spend is largely irrelevant. You have to create players from within your own clubs structure who are good enough to play at super league level, not join forces with another club to do this. Hull produce some of the best players at junior level, tap into this and create a team .

I think the officiating was pretty poor for both sides but we certainly didn’t benefit from it more than you. One of our try’s was an obstruction but your first two try’s weren’t try’s with the second one being one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen to award it considering he was stood right in front of it.

The second was Shaws when he grounded the kick through infront of the ingoal judge which he had no issue with.
The refs annoyed me with daft things like awarding Saints penalties for a ball steal when the defender had already moved away from the tackle, then minutes later the ball flies out of a 3 man saints tackle and is given as a Rovers knock on.
