| Credit to KR. I think we had the attitude of we had done enough when we went 8? up in the second half. I genuinely thought you were going to pinch it with a drop goal at the end but I'm happy with a point considering how well you came back at us. Can't remember who scored that long range try for you but it was a good en. Hope you stay up.

| Quote Dave K.="Dave K."Apart from the top 3 and maybe Wakey, I think every side in the league could say that about injuries, unfortunately part and parcel of the game and ten team with the least about of key injuries seems to do well (Like we did in 2016).
I think looking at the game, it's a point gained, but really to try and finish in the top 8, you needed both.
Massive game on a week Friday, probably your biggest game of the season as lose and that you out of the race for the top 8.'"
8th has been teetering between long shot and unrealistic for a good long while now. 6 points behind Hudds with only 5 to be played, but if we did beat them in our next game up it’d keep our very, very slim hopes alive. Even a win today would have left us needing 3 more wins than them, so to the extent that it matters a draw is as good as a win - their points difference is poor.
More realistic, if also much less valuable, would be grabbing 9th/10th - and the draw today doesn’t help very much with that.
We’ll be in the middle 8s almost certainly, but if we can build on this over the next five SL rounds, we can go in with a bit of belief.

Looking at the fixtures I think you will finish above Salford and sneak 10th, don't think they will win another game, so need 2 more wins and all games games left are winnable IMO.

The next three will be important - they are all winnable. But there’s a big gap between winnable and winning. We can’t get all cocky after one decent surprise result.
It’s as much about momentum as it is league position now, imo. If we can get McGuire back and add a signing or two more, then come the 8s... well, we’ll see!

| Salford are 3 points ahead of us with a better points difference so today's draw does help. I think we now have a good chance of finishing above them and Widnes.
We have a slim chance of catching Huddersfield we must beat them next up and they then have several tough fixtures so who knows. Catalans have an even tougher run in.
Our next 3 are winnable but we have to go back to Justin Morgan for 3 wins on the bounce so it will take a huge effort.
I like the attitude of Joel Tomkins so I'll go with him.......we aim to win all our remaining games and finish in the top 8. If not we intend to finish top of the qualifiers.

| 10th gets us an extra home game but comes with a trip (daunting?) to Canada, whereas if we stay 11th we’d get them at home.
The most encouraging thing today was the resolve shown when we went 14 down. We usually fold but found a way to hang in and got our reward.

Not sure Toronto are playing in Canada. As the rfl have told them they aren't going to be able to play in blocks and will have to play the games as they fall.
Either way, Toronto look to have a strong side that could cause problems. All the championship look to have sides that could cause problems, could be for a neutral a fascinating 8's.
Funny enough today I started to think we could do something just before Cas's 3rd try. When they had something like 20 tackles, which we defended really well. We just needed to get our hands on the ball.
When we had the ball we looked good. VaiVai was again very good.
The other thing today showed (without a debate), was just how good Atkins was at HB. And that's were he should have been playing all season. Like I said, after today I'm slightly more optimistic. We now have to back it up.

| I like Atkin in the halves but he needs to learn when to twist and when to stick. That short drop out was ridiculous at such an early stage of the game and cost us another try. On the plus side, he really takes the line on so well. Hopefully he should renew his partnership with McGuire next game.
