I don't personally feel that Dagger is quite ready for the Step up. He was pretty Awful in all the pre season friendlies he played and was only average against a poor Catalan team. I feel it will be a year or 2 before he becomes a regular, certainly would'nt want to throw an inexperienced FB into the derby cauldron.

But we've got decent depth now, and there are some who haven't made the 19 despite being fit and capable of 'doing a job'. We just lack a bit of power and, in places, quality. If the result reflects that, then there's no excuse, other than that is the current reality of our situation.
