Where did I say you were irrelevant? I think exactly the opposite.

A witty retort as usual.

Which after all the “stars” connected to Rovers begs the question, what actually is stopping quality players signing for the club?'"
Imagine you’re a player or agent, rather than a Rovers fan. Hull KR are one of several SL clubs interested in signing the player, and they’re all offering a roughly similar wage. Realistically, in 2018, do you sign for Hull KR?
So we either pay above the odds or sign players that are attracting little interest from other clubs.
We need to do something (‘what?’ being the big question) to change that perception, by creating some stability and an opportunity for professional fulfilment. Cas and Wakefield probably offer the best models for us to look at.

Agree with this, the club has previously gone down the pay too much for mediocre/has been players, that strategy failed.
Stability is definitely required, along with the offer of SL rugby, which is difficult to sell given recent history.
It seems that the “sales pitch” for recruitment may need some work in order for the higher calibre player to buy into the clubs vision.

| Isn’t the draw of a Jamie peacock or Mr Sheens a sales pitch enough to sway unsure players?

I fear most are already pretty sure. Although I think BMM and Lui, would have liked to link up with Sheens if the price had been right.
I’m sure Peacock commands a lot of respect among players, and rightly, but most will have hard-nosed agents who will want see more from him as an administrator than carrying over the attitudes and platitudes that helped make him a champion player.
