I have always been a defender of Ben Cockayne as his energy in carrying the ball always seemed to fire up the side. I could except his odd mistake's but now he is at the end of his career & should seriously consider hanging up his boots. He is not the way forward at fullback. Yesterdays game showed up or lack of experience across the team & apart from Lunt non of our senior players seem to be leaders who to use a football term, can put their foot on the ball & calm things down. We desperately need an old experienced tough forward to complement Lunt.

We are obviously long shots to go up at the present time , the standard we are performing at is nowhere near good enough to gain promotion. Unless Sheens really is a devious genius then we look booked for a stay in the championship.

The problem is, will fans turn out again next season to watch the dirge been served up week after week. Boring , safety first Rugby League in a divison we are comfortably best in. At least Morgan's side played with a bit of panache and flair in their promotion season and visibly enjoyed their game and putting teams to the sword.
