I'm worried about Minns too. Fully expected him to be named in the squad to face Leigh this week. On this season's form alone, he's tough to replace.

Real shame about Donaldson, who had run in to some good form and was scoring a lot of tries.

We do seem to have had more than our share of season- and even career-enders these last few years. Addy is out for a few weeks again as well, so Sheens will have to restructure the team a bit.

Do we know how Brad Clavering is developing ? it was suggested when he signed that he was a very good prospect for a backrow slot.

He was still only 18 when he signed, and is eligible for the academy still. More one for the future, I guess, but it might be good to give him a few games from the bench before the 8s, against Swinton, Rochdale et al., if he is ready.

With Clark and Kavanagh returning to fitness and the signing of Johnson, we could go with a prop at 13 to beef up the pack a bit.

Looks like we will go with lawler at loose man but I agree I would prefer a prop there for Leigh
