Jeez, both Hull and Rovers have made some pretty ordinary signings during the SL era, even when not in the "premier elite".
Would be interesting to have both sets of fans compile their "Most disappointing signings since 1996 XIII" and work out which team would triumph, although I think the idea would probably be to celebrate which team was the worst.
Aye, Mason would be one of the first names on that team sheet too. Also, Sean Gleeson.
The thing is then, there'd be players who I'd feel bad about using to fill out the squad. Campese and Justin Poore didn't get injured deliberately. Kris Keating's form was indifferent, but I always had the impression he was trying. And in fairness to somebody like Bailey even, if he had genuine issues to work through, that's not something he'll have done deliberately either.

| Minns and new aussie I'd say will have bit of toe but not a back line superleague teams will fear in qualifiers

What real speed will we have in team this season?Addy kebabdul Ellis aren't gonna be rapid and Cockayne has lost his extra pace.never really saw Shaw get chance from long range Salter is medium pace at best.looks very pedestrian on paper at mo'"
Mantalato was pretty slow for a winger so would never go the length of the field 10 yards out he was as good as anyone Sios try against wire the other season was pure class

Wouldn't be surprised if Mantellato knocks it on the head. I think he had other stuff going on before going full-time with us.

I heard he was thinking of going into teaching. His body might not be up to another season.
