| Blair, Lunt and Minns are the 3 players I wanted most to stay with us ......Greenwood is the fourth ......Fingers crossed!
As for Walker, he hits the line and turns his back and then tries to do back peddling fairy steps in order to off-load .......That is his entire game! ......Full stop! ......I would have traded Walker with Mitch Clark any day of the week throughout our Super League campaign .......Hopefully Mitch will be our next signing.
And, regarding Walker's loyalty, Hull KR have not only stood by Walker throughout his court cases, but they have also paid for Walker to be chaperoned to every game he has played because this was a condition of his on going court case because he was accused of being a sex offender.
Hopefully we will meet Walker again in the cup, and, hopefully, we will have someone with the mettle of Green to give him the whack that he deserves!

| If Sheens is anything like the disciplinarian I think we need, Walker wouldn't have lasted long anyway. There's only so many weekends you can stagger round Sugarmill with your eyes rolling round your head and your jaw swinging in the breeze before you get found out. Couple more could do to watch their step too.

It's a short career so he quite rightly goes where he can get the most lucrative contract which will still be a fraction of what other professional sports get. He appeared to be your most consistent prop.
This loyalty thing from the club would probably go out of the window if he got a career ending injury....
Think there is a massive over reaction to him leaving..

| When the allegations against Walker came out, the club had two options - suspend him on full pay until the case was resolved, or continue to play him. Presumably one of the reasons they met with his lawyers was to estimate the level of risk to the club's reputation, if they did the latter. If there'd been overwhelming and incontrovertible evidence against him, I'm sure he'd have been suspended. And quite rightly. There apparently wasn't and that was a legal end of it.
The club couldn't convince him that it was going to be the best place for him to be moving forward. I can't muster much outrage. Equally, I'm not overwhelmed with disappointment - he's been a 6 out of 10 for a while. As the Wakey fan above points out that put him among the more consistent performers in the pack, but his departure at least frees up some budget to remodel what has been an area of significant weakness.
Glad Minns is staying. Arguably our best centre when fit in 2016.

A career ending injury is hardly the same thing as asking him to show a bit of loyalty to repay what we did for him I suppose the one thing relegation shows is your left with players who actually want to play for the club or feel they owe the club

| Couldn't agree more,he's a classless, arrogant tool lacking a brain and they are his good points, the rating of 6/10 is about right.

| Cox has been released by Warrington. Seemed to be playing well earlier in the season. Wonder if he's worth another chance.

The Championship could be a good level for Jordan, last season he bulked up at Warrington so would make an fair interchange forward to be used as a battering ram when "hard yards" are needed. If the wage demand is not to unreasonable give him another chance.

If the club had thought him likely to be found guilty, he'd have been dropped pdq.
We 'needed' Albert Kelly at the end of the season, don't forget.
The more pertinent point is that we presumably (given the nature of the allegations) thought he would not be found guilty, or were willing to accept assurances to that effect (which ultimately proved correct), so it was appropriate to stand by him.
If we'd supported him after a conviction, as we did with Ben Cockayne, then I think that would qualify as above and beyond and possibly justify some reciprocal loyalty. That said, I was pretty sanguine about us signing Paul Cooke when he left Hull.
It's the 'game' we, as a club are in. I don't mind at all that the Chairman is angry or frustrated - so long as it doesn't distract from or impede putting together a team that can win games.
