| Regardless of our performance, Leigh have now beaten 2 SL sides and may beat Hudds and give Leeds a run for their money. On that basis they deserve promotion which means someone else is gonna be relegated.
Its still in our hands whether it's us or Hudd/Salford.
Win next 2 and we're either in MPG or have enough points diff to avoid it. Beat Hudds as well, and we're safe.
None of the games are safe bets if we switch off again, although Leigh are a different prospect especially compared to London and Feath. That stated, last game of the season that London were relegated, they beat us, lest we not forget.
Strangely enough, best thing that could happen is Leigh beating Hudds.
If nothing else, Sky and the RFL will probably be happy at yesterday's result.

I think there is going to be some more twists and turns along the way and some surprise results its going to be very tight and it looks like goal diff will be a major factor which you should be well positioned with London and Featherstone to play, couple of moral boosting wins against championship side in your next 2 games and you will be well placed to beat the giants who have some hard games in front of them before they meet you

| Don't know about anyone else, but I can see myself getting pretty fed up with this play off system. Maybe its just that we're playing badly and the club seems in a real mess.
One - I'm a bit old school and it just doesn't seem fair - you have a league where you play each other home and away, whoever finishes last is the worst team and should be relegated. But no, to stop meaningless games the bottom 4 go into another league with the slate wiped clean. For the Superleague clubs there's nothing to win, only the chance of a big loss, Championship clubs the reverse so I can see why they would like it. But still after all that, if you finish 4th you are one of the 4 strongest teams and should stay up, but no, you have to play again against a team that didn't do as well as you in a one off game where anything could happen.
Two - Trouble is IF we stay up I can probably look forward to the same again next season, I just hope I get some enthusiasm back over the closed season. But even if we were (relatively) successful, that would mean finishing around 8th and looking forward to a run of 7 games against better teams than us to get a weekly walloping to finish the season. That doesn't sound like much fun either.
Normally I don't expect Rovers to win any competitions, I just take one game at a time and any success is a nice bonus. If we lose on a Sunday I'm miserable for the night but by Monday I'm looking forward to the next weekends game, yesterday is forgotten. I just hope I can get that mentality back.

Got to agree its great if your in top 4 but its a waste of time for everyone else, they should go with 16 teams in SL one up one down but the chairmen will never agree, there is not enough money from sky due to red hall selling the game to cheap its a disgrace that Union get more than our sport by some way when the second biggest watched sport on sky is super league we get a pittance hence why we are playing some teams 4 and possibly 5 times its a great sport but I honestly think this set up is not working for the majority of the clubs, the bottom 8 qualifiers will be exciting but so is a regular relegation battle there is far to many meaningless games in both the top 8 and bottom 8
