Best was the first top act I saw. 15 years old just started work & a collegue was lead singer in a locall band, got asked to help with thier gear as it had to be lugged to the top of the Co Op in town (Skyline ballroom) Top act Jimi Hendrix, even met him after the show & got his autograph, Wish I could find it now. I dont recall but I would ave seen robert Plamer as well that night (with the mandrakes).
Worst Billy J Kramer at a do in Walkington he was awfull but saw him a a show thirty years later & he had learned a bit by then & was great.
