| Quote: GIANT DAZ "We gave you Lunt, Eden, Hodgson, Horne, Walker, Carlile etc.....what more do you want
Let's see how we've done with them.....
Eden was a fantastic talent which our coaches didn't improve and fans didn't rate. His dad took up specialist internet interests and he left for Aus where Wayne Bennett rated him enough to put him on the Bronco's rota. Now he has a World Club Champions medal.
We didn't make a great effort to keep him it appears.
Lunt you sent us a crock, he did his back in and we gave him a four year contract. Great player if he's ever on the pitch.
Hodgson. Good winger. Good career. Came for a pension and we turned him into a crap coach it appears.
Carlise. He had a dodgy ticker. He came back from that and we awarded him by ignoring him for 2 years then sending him to Sheffield.
Walker. Great prospect didn't take a backward step. We got no one to help him. Leaving him targeted by other packs with no back row to help him. We signed his half witted brother.....briefly. He looked burnt out last year and now faces charges of similar internet interests as Eden Sr.
Horne....he's from Hull so we sign him. Brave there is no doubt but I've seen more intimidating ice creams. Falling off tackles since his grand final appearance for dull.
Who manages our club? Any one help out? Goose do you know?

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Why would you think I know?
I consistently say I have no idea.
I once met Mike, he furiously denied that he ignored my emails, he had ribbon ink from an old Remington all over his pudgy hands.
I refused the shake.
I think only one man save us now, his name is Shaft.
John Shaft.

| Until they cut loose all they had to do was play basic rugby and we never looked like winning even when it was close. They ran harder, got quick PTB's, made easy metres, started us off deep in our half and dominated us in defence. Our PTB's were slow, we only got upfield via penalties then spilt it as soon as we got decent field position.
Their forwards bullied us. We thought we were light in the pack before the season but I think today's the first time it's showed up. Brought did what he wanted. Every time he got the ball had time to pick his pass/kick, pathetic. Must have been a surprise tactic by them caught us off guard.
They wore us down and cashed in at the end. At 12-6 after we scored we had 5 mins where we played with energy and looked like we might score again. Once they saw that off we never got a look in. At 18-6 we were dropping out under the posts early ish in 2nd half, we were all hands on hips trudging back, looked beaten already. Only 12 points in it but they didn't look like they believed they could do it.
Minns was impressive, Greenwood went well, Campese was quality for 40 mins. Other than that errr.. Bad.
Get Dixon in the team. Shaw is just as bad under the high ball and defending with half the pace. Couple of times Thornley put him in a bit of space he didn't have the pace to go for it down the line. If we insist on ignoring sio on the other side at least have a strike weapon there. Madness.
Cockayne made errors but the thing that bugs me is his pass selection. They don't show up on stats or error counts but so many times he gets the ball out the back and messes the pass up or picks the wrong man. He hit Thornley a few times yesterday where Shaw was completely free. It's so poor and costly, wasted chances.
