The Sky team were far more scathing at HT when they'd seen more replays.
Fortunately no serious damage was done but how anybody who has played the game can watch that & decide that no disciplinary action should be taken is beyond belief.
Sorry, don't agree. It was after the tackle was complete & he knew exactly what he was doing.

Surprised by that, dangerous play and could have resulted in a very serious injury. Deserved a red card and a ban IMO. Deliberate contact around the eyes needs to be punished more than a sin bin!
Very clearly an out and out dirty play and he should have not only gone off there and then but a hefty ban too, spilling over to next season I would have hoped... We don't need this in our game, there is a simple reason he no longer plays super league rugby and why he's a championship player, but I expect not for long to be honest. Send him home, dirty sod. To do it on the smallest fella on the pitch too, big man!
