Congratulations today and been a Widnes fan i was disappointed in our performance. I feel we will get relegated on our recent performances.

Have to say hats off to your coaching team. Even with the whole Middle 8s meaning something to play for, it would have been very easy for the players to focus on Wembley. As it is you've kept grinding out the wins, which IMO is the best possible way to prepare for a cup final as well. I think the final will be a lot closer than many people think (I certainly hope Leeds players don't disrespect KR as much as some fans seem to).

Quote: Sandro II Terrorista "Very, very good professional performance in a pretty awful game today.

Widnes were terrible, we played the conditions better and managed the game much in part to Matty Marsh's excellent kicking game.

I agree that Allgood has just got himself a Wembley shirt, Ollett and Donaldson will probably miss out but both were hugely committed in defence today.

Very much enjoyed the community singing at the end, the connection between players and fans is a joy. ManTomato is having the time of his life.

No idea why we signed Jism, on current form if everyone was fit he's fifth choice in the halves.'"

Agree with all of that, thought the general feel in the stand was brilliant, real buzz and togetherness. Best league away fixture i've been to in a while and it was one I was wondering why I was bothering before hane. Most in the pubs were of the opinion that if we kept it respectable it was a good result. So a win was a massive bonus.

The proprs for the final will be a big call. Though Green and Allgood both played well as did Tilse.

Jism has a pretty good short kicking game but very little else. Marsh gives us more as he can do all that and add defence to it as well. If Albert is fit I'd be dissapointed to see Jism picked in front of infront of Marsh for the rest of this season.

Extremely gritty performance yesterday from the boys in the pouring rain. A great team spirit and the lads really worked for each other. Our attack looked a bit disjointed at times but then again it was the first time Marsh and Chisholm had played together. Good kicking game from Marsh, Chisholm not so good apart from maybe one decent kick but it will come. I thought the forwards were immense today Algood, Boudebza, Burke and Ollett stood out for me defensively and James Green reminded me of a young Barrie McDermott with his drives today no holding back at all. And I must mention Lawler who acquitted himself brilliantly and did not look out of place whatsoever he will be a player for next year and the lad even got a debut try well played young man a014.gif
