That has to be one of the strangest games I have ever seen.
I have never seen such a difficult 1 sided game in my life.

IMHO we played well for the first 10 minutes and proved we were to big, strong and fast. After which at 10-0 we entered 'showboat mode', only problem with this is that Halifax are a lot better than that and we didn't show them enough respect (No the irony of that statement isn't lost on me).

IMHO neither side deserved that scoreline today again IMHO.

With our away record and Wembley beckoning I really don't fancy our chances against Widnes, but if we can manage a win I think the pressure is right off us.

Im a bit more optimistic that we can beat Widnes. It will be a tough game with it being on that terrible pitch and with Kevin Brown now back playing but we should have beat them at their ground only for a couple of bad decisions so I expect a close game but a narrow rovers victory.

I do not think it will be that bad,I would put the team that i hope to play at wembley out against Widnes because i do not think for one moment we would beat Leeds so go for super league and hope for a upset in the cup

I actually think it will benefit us playing a Super League team the week before Wembley.

We've had two weeks of slower national league one teams and going into the Leeds game playing 3 games like that could have done us some harm in terms of being able to get the intensity and speed of the game right. I think we've been dragged down to the lower teams level in the last 2 games but a good solid team like Widnes should get us back playing proper "Super League" standard rugby.
